In the Hebrew Calendar, we are in the month of Tevet. This month is associated with the tribe of Dan.
Dan’s name means to rule, to judge or execute judgment. This is a season when God is wanting to bring us into a place of maturity so that he can bring us into our place of allotted authority or ruler ship, so that we can understand how to operate in the full manifestation of dominion as “Sons Of The Kingdom”!.
This is also the season that God is calling us to do self-evaluation in order to assess how we are walking in and embracing our son-ship inheritance according to the full measure of the stature of Messiah (Ephesians 4:11-16). Judgment begins at the house of God, whose temple we are (1 Corinthians 6:19, Ephesians 2:20-22). So this is a time to do introspection in retrospection. You have to be able to truly see where God has brought you from in order to understand how to continue the journey to inheritance through the maturing process of son-ship. In the place of inheritance is where we find the ultimate end of purpose and destiny as Sons of God.
Dan was also the 5th son of Jacob and the 1st son of Rachel by her handmaid, Bilhah. 5 is the number of grace, and 1 is the number of God, the Father, strong leader or unity (oneness).
Look at the prophetic implication here. Yashuah, the gift of the grace of God (God in the flesh)(John 1:14), who will in turn judge the world, was also the 1st born son of Mary(Luke 2:7), who called herself “the handmaid of the Lord”(Luke 1:38). The combination of the two numbers representing the birthing position of Dan(5 +1=6), represents humanity, which found grace in the eyes of God, and was elevated to the position of son-ship in Messiah (The Righteous Judge), and became the generation of promise(Psalms 22:30).
Tevet is also associated with the Hebrew alphabet ayin which pictures an eye or ”seeing”. It is extremely important to stay focused this month in order to process the revelation that God is pouring out in order to move forward in God’s Kingdom Mandate.
Ayin also pictures a spring or well, which represents new life. This is a month for new life to flow out of you, which is a continuation of the river of God stirring and coming forth which began in the last month(Kislev), which was the month of birthing, which insinuates the breaking forth of the water of life.
As last month also represented coming full circle, and getting back into full alignment with God, Tevet as an ayin month, is also representative of, and connected to the number seventy, which represents preparation for increase and restoration.
We receive the fullness of restoration by finding our resting place in God. Even amid our warfare seasons, we must learn to rest in Him. Again, There Is Restoration In The Rest! In other words, we are being divinely positioned by the Father to receive the totality of the promises of the inheritance of son-ship.
Tevet is also a “glory” month(Isaiah 60), because it is one of the two months that is intersected by Hanukkah(The Festival Of Lights, The Feast Of Dedication-John 10:22-24), which represents the inextinguishable light of the “Glory Of God”, which is a continuation of the season of miracles, which we are in and also we are. As sons, we must see ourselves as the miraculous inextinguishable light of the Fathers eternal glory. Also we must envision and see our lives from the perspective of our identity as the “sons of glory” and live in the fullness of the glory realm.(John 8:12, John 9:5, Luke 11:33-36, John 12:35-36, Matthew 5:14-16, Proverbs 4:18). There is an awakening and an unlocking of the identity and authority of the sons that is totally unveiled through becoming fully aware of the reality of living life from the position of becoming the full manifestation of the Fathers glory. Another word for “glory” in the Hebrew is wealth, so we are also in the season of miraculous “wealth transference”!
Tevet is the tenth month in the Hebrew calendar which represents divine order, testimony, law, and is also a governmental number. I find it interesting that it intersects the twelfth, and the first month of the Roman calendar, because 12=apostle, kingdom order, government of God, new administration, and 1=God, unity, first, new, beginning, rank, and order. God speaks, moves and unveils revelation in prophetic patterns.
This month actually closes out an old season in our cultural calendar and begins a new season. According to the scripture, it sets us into a place of divine order, and brings us into a place of perfect covenant alignment and synchronization with the word (voice) and will of the Father. As we assess our place and position in God, it is preparing us for a new season of increase and restoration. It allows us to cross over. It actually brings us closer to fully aligning with the Hebrew mindset, which is the mind of Messiah.
The word Hebrew actually means, “One who crosses over or one who continually crosses into a higher dimension or relationship in and with God”. Hear the voice of the Lord, saying “See The Word At My Mouth”, and receive the prophetic revelation of this month. In This Decade Of The Declarer, It Is Imperative That We Hear God With Unusually, In-Depth Clarity In Order To Fully Convey And Articulate Clearly What The Father Is Saying During This Season With Pinpoint Accuracy! We are literally being called as His oracles, shofars, and divine echo chambers during this season. In other words, we are in actuality being released as the expression of His voice, which is creative. As His Sons, we must be careful what we create in this season through our expressions of both our worship and the releases of His voice into the atmosphere.
This is a month to truly evaluate covenant alignments, in order to advance properly into Apostolic Prophetic Destiny.
This is the month to be praying for those that are in leadership over you and with you, so they also will stay properly aligned and on the proper path to destiny. Remember the scriptural illustration of the sheep and goat this month (Matthew 25:32-33), because this month is connected to the constellation Capricorn (goat).
This is the month that your testimony, your actions, and your decision making processes, will reveal your level of maturity. This is a time when we are extremely susceptible to the spirit of rebellion and the nature of disconnect or isolation. You don’t want yourself or anyone connected to you to fall prey to this nature of rebellion or immaturity.
This is also the month of righteous anger or indignation. This is a time to make sure that your emotions are totally submitted and surrendered to the will of God, so that you don’t lose control, so that your soul is not damaged during this season. You want to make sure the manifestation of the promises of God are not delayed or hindered in your life. Also we must keep our emotions under control in order to hear the voice of God clearly and process revelation from a Godly perspective.
This is the month to make sure your blood is cleansed and purified. In order to do this, this is the time that God instills a time of fasting and setting apart to reflect on how he is moving you forward. This is also a good time to spend additional time with the Father to be fully prepared to move forward with the proper strategy for a new position and purpose.
This is also a good time to seek the Father through creative expressions in worship. Also our worship should be intensifying during this season. Our worship creates an atmosphere for the presence of God to fully manifest in our lives. Remember, Worship Precedes Warfare! Worship Is A Dynamic Weapon Of Warfare! We Can Worship Our Way Into The Rest Of God, Which Again, Is A Prelude To Restoration!
The tribe of Dan was part of the rear guard of Israel, which consists of Dan, Naphtali and Asher. It is extremely important to know who God has aligned with you in this season of war!
Meditate on the prophecies concerning Dan given by Jacob, his Father (Genesis 49:16-18), and Moses (Deuteronomy 33:22). Ask the Lord to give you the revelation of how they apply to your life, and how to be able to access the redemptive revelation of these blessings!
Be prepared to war for the promises, as God leads and gives strategy. We must learn to watch in a new way in this season and see all things from the perspective of heaven. Do not allow the enemy to lure you into a snare of idolatry and lull you away from the path that God has ordained for you to walk. This is the month that God has determined for you to step on the head of the serpent and walk in victory! (Luke 10:19). Blessings! Shalom!
