After leaving The Garden Of Eden, Adam and Eve had two sons, Cain and Abel. Cain, the eldest, became a farmer, and Abel, the 2nd son, became a shepherd. Unfortunately Cain killed his younger brother, so neither of them was included in the Dominion Mandate of Kingdom Sonship. You can read all about them in Genesis 4:1-24.
The lineage through which The Dominion Mandate was to continue, also known as The Righteous Line (the line through which Messiah descended) came into being In Genesis 4:25- 26, (25) And Adam knew his wife again: and she bare a son and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew. (26) And to Seth, to him also there was born a son: and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the Lord.
The lineage of Seth can be followed throughout Genesis 5 and most of Genesis 6. Within those particular passages, there is a description of both the downfall and demise of mankind. However in Genesis 5:28, amongst the descendents of Seth, there is mention of a man called Lamech who had a son called Noah. Genesis 5:29, 32: (29) And he called his name Noah(comfort), saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the Lord hath cursed. (32) And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
The story of Noah picks up again in Genesis 6:8-10, (8) But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. (9) These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God. (10) And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
God chose Noah and his family as the instruments (vessels) through which he would both restore and reestablish The Dominion Mandate into the earth realm. God covered and protected them and brought them to the other side of the flood that destroyed mankind. God made covenant with Noah and his family (Genesis 9). The family of Noah became the progenitors of the population of the world.
Of the sons of Noah, our focus is on the lineage of the eldest son, Shem. Out of the lineage of Shem came the next vessel that God would make covenant with, in the personage of Abram.
Abram is first mentioned in scripture in Genesis 11:26: And Terah lived seventy years, and begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran. The story of Abram continues with a brief description and introduction of his father, Terah (whose name means Delay) in Genesis 11:27-32. (27) Now these are the generations of Terah: Terah begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran; and Haran begat Lot. (28) And Haran died before his father Terah in the land of his nativity, in Ur of the Chaldees. (29) And Abram and Nahor took them wives: the name of Abram’s wife was Sarai; and the name of Nahor’s wife, Milkah, the daughter of Haran, the father of Milkah, and the father of Iscah. (30) But Sarai was barren; she had no child. (31) And Terah took Abram his son, and Lot the son of Haran his son’s son, and Sarai his daughter in law, his son Abram’s wife; and they went forth from Ur of the Chaldees, to go into the land of Canaan; and they came unto Haran, and dwelt there. (32) And the days of Terah were two hundred and five years: and Terah died in Haran. Terah was not the instrument that God had chosen to continue his covenant interaction with mankind, so Terah could only go so far with Abram on this journey of discovery of the Father and his identity as the friend God, the father of faith. From Genesis Chapters 12 -25; we get a major look at the life of Abram (Exalted Father) as he is redirected, repositioned and repurposed by God. We get to see his struggles, his weaknesses, his faults, and his failures. We see in him an unwavering faith, and an unconquerable love. It is that faith and that love that transforms him from being Abram (Exalted Father) to becoming Abraham (Father Of Multitudes). It Is from this covenant transformative positioning in God that we also see his seed being blessed after him. God himself began to be recognized as “The God Of Abraham, Isaac, And Jacob”. This very phrase itself represented the first three generations of Abraham’s family, Isaac, his son, and Jacob (Israel), his grandson. Jacob became known as Israel, who became the father of the nation of people that would bring forth the eternal seed, the eternal expression of sonship, Messiah himself. Part of the blessing of Abraham in his covenant with God is that through him, all the nations of the earth would be blessed. He is considered to be the father of the circumcised and the uncircumcised. Through our eternal positioning in Messiah, we are eligible to embrace all the promises of God as sons of the Kingdom and to manifest the Dominion Mandate Of Creation as eternal sons!
To fulfill the Dominion Mandate that we have been given from our Creator through the lineage of Adam, Seth, Noah, Shem and Abraham, and also the direct descendants of Abraham through his grandson, Jacob (Israel), who became the chosen people of God through which God brought forth the eternal son, Yeshua the Messiah. It is through this divine process (John 1:12), that we are enabled, equipped and authorized to function as God’s own Voice(oracles) and Ambassadors (Active, Creative Authorities) in the Earth. We have the Power to be His Sons and His representative in every aspect and every dimension of life itself! It is time to embrace our true identities and manifest as the Eternal Sons Of The Kingdom! Step up and step out!
